CV World ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App") and our administrative console (the "Admin Console").

            Important Note: CV World consists of two components: (1) a job seeker mobile app for creating and managing CVs, and (2) an Admin Console for authorized recruiters, agents, and administrators to access CVs with explicit permission and audit logging.
        

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, password.
CV/Resume Data: Work history, education, skills, professional qualifications, personal statement, and any other information you include in your CV.
Profile Information: Profile photo, location preferences, job search status.
Application Data: Jobs you apply for, application status, employer interactions.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: App features used, time spent, pages viewed, clicks.
Device Information: IP address, device type, operating system, unique device identifiers.
Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address (with your permission).

1.3 Information from the Admin Console (Audit Logs)

When your CV is accessed by authorized administrators, agents, or recruiters through our Admin Console, we log:

Who accessed your CV (user ID and role)
Timestamp of access
Action taken (view, download, share, assign)
IP address of the accessing user

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve our App and Admin Console
To match you with relevant job opportunities
To share your CV with authorized employers, agents, and recruiters (only with your consent)
To maintain audit logs for security and accountability
To notify you about job matches, application updates, and platform changes
To detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, or abuse
To comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing Your Information

3.1 With Your Consent

We share your CV and personal information with:

Employers and Recruiters: When you apply for a job or opt into our talent pool.
Agents and Administrators: Who manage CV assignments through our Admin Console.

3.2 Service Providers

We may share data with third-party vendors who help us operate the App (hosting, analytics, email delivery). They are bound by confidentiality agreements.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request.

3.4 Business Transfers

If CV World is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Your Rights and Choices

4.1 Access and Correction

You can view and update your CV and profile information at any time through the App.

4.2 Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten")

You may request deletion of your CV and personal data by emailing privacy@cvworldd.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

4.3 Access Log Request

You have the right to request a log of who has accessed your CV through our Admin Console. Email audit@cvworldd.com with subject "CV Access Log Request".

4.4 Opt-Out of Marketing

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link or emailing unsubscribe@cvworldd.com.

4.5 Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your consent for CV sharing at any time. Your CV will be removed from active recruiter access within 7 business days.

5. Data Retention

CV Data: Retained for as long as your account is active, plus 12 months after account deletion for legal purposes.
Audit Logs: Retained for 365 days for security and accountability.
Usage Data: Retained for 90 days for analytics and improvement.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Encryption of CVs at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
Role-based access control (RBAC) for Admin Console users
Automated audit logging of all CV access
Regular security assessments

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the App.
