Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through the CV World mobile application ("App"). By making a purchase, you agree to this policy.
1. Types of Purchases
- Premium Subscription: Recurring monthly or annual fee for premium features
- One-Time Purchase: Single payment for specific features or CV templates
Important: All payments are processed through Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). Each platform has its own refund policies. CV World cannot directly issue refunds for purchases made through these stores.
2. Eligibility for Refunds from CV World
CV World will issue a refund directly (outside of Google/Apple) ONLY in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate Charge: You were charged twice for the same purchase due to a system error.
- Service Unavailable: You purchased a premium feature but the feature was completely non-functional for more than 7 consecutive days.
- Unauthorized Charge: You were charged without your consent (proof required).
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued for:
- Change of mind or accidental purchase (contact Google Play/Apple instead)
- Partial use of subscription period
- User error (e.g., incorrect account selection, forgot to cancel trial)
- Dissatisfaction with job search results (we do not guarantee job offers)
- Device incompatibility known before purchase
- Subscription cancellations (you retain access until the end of the paid period)
4. Free Trials
If you sign up for a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid charges. No refunds are available for charges incurred after failing to cancel a trial.
5. How to Request a Refund
For Google Play Store Purchases:
Visit play.google.com/store/account → Order History → Request Refund (within 48 hours of purchase).
For Apple App Store Purchases:
Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow instructions.
For Direct Refund Requests (eligible cases only):
Email billing@cvworldd.com within 14 days of the transaction with:
- Full name and email associated with your account
- Google Play/Apple Order ID (screenshot preferred)
- Date and amount of purchase
- Detailed reason for refund request
6. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days and credited to the original payment method. Processing time varies by your financial institution.
7. Canceling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Google Play: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → CV World → Cancel
- Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → CV World → Cancel
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a refund for the current period.
