Agent Agreement

Applicable To: Agents (limited-permission users of the CV World Admin Console)

These Agent Terms and Conditions ("Agent Terms") govern your access to and use of the CV World Admin Console as an Agent. By logging into the Admin Console, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Agent Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access the Console.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The CV World Admin Console is an AUDITED SYSTEM. Every action you take (viewing a CV, updating status, flagging records) is logged with your user ID, timestamp, and IP address. Unauthorized access or misuse will result in immediate termination and potential legal action.

1. Your Role as an Agent

As an Agent, you are granted limited, view-only access to CVs that have been explicitly assigned to you by a Super Admin or Admin. Your role is strictly for recruitment or CV management purposes on behalf of authorized employers or agencies.

1.1 Permitted Actions (Only These)

1.2 Prohibited Actions (Strictly Forbidden)

Download CV to personal device	Immediate suspension + audit review
Forward CV via email, chat, or USB	Permanent ban + possible legal action
Share login credentials with anyone	Account termination (all shared users)
Attempt to view CVs not assigned to you	Automatic flag to Super Admin
Delete or modify audit logs	Not technically possible – attempted bypass = contract termination
Use CV data for any purpose outside assigned recruitment	Violation of data protection laws
Take screenshots or photos of CVs	Immediate termination
Store CV data on personal cloud services	Legal action + termination

Zero Tolerance Policy: Violation of ANY prohibited action will result in immediate account termination, permanent ban from the CV World platform, and may be reported to relevant authorities for potential legal prosecution under data protection laws.

2. Audit & Monitoring

The Admin Console maintains comprehensive audit logs including:

All CV views – which user, when, from which IP address
All status updates – before and after values
All login attempts – successful and failed
Session duration – time spent in the Console

Audit logs are retained for a minimum of 365 days. Super Admins conduct random audits without notice. By using the Console, you explicitly consent to this monitoring.

3. Data Protection Obligations

You acknowledge and agree that:

CV data belongs to the job seeker, not to you or your agency
You are acting as a data processor under applicable data protection laws (including Zambia Data Protection Act and GDPR where applicable)
You must not use CV data for any purpose other than the specific recruitment assignment
You must not retain CV data outside the Console
You must report any data breach or unauthorized access immediately to security@cvworldd.com

Job Seeker Rights: Job seekers have the right to request a log of who accessed their CV. You may be identified in such logs. By accepting these terms, you consent to your actions being disclosed to job seekers upon their lawful request.

4. Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
You must not share your account credentials with any other person, including colleagues
You must enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if offered by the system
You must log out after each session, especially on shared devices
You must immediately report lost or stolen devices with active sessions to your Super Admin
You must change your password immediately if you suspect any compromise

5. Confidentiality

All CV data and job seeker information you access through the Console is strictly confidential. You agree:

Not to discuss CV details with anyone outside the authorized recruitment process
Not to disclose any job seeker personal information to third parties
To use CV data only for the purpose of evaluating candidates for specific job openings
To destroy any printed or locally stored CV information immediately after use (if printing was exceptionally authorized)

This confidentiality obligation survives termination of your account.

6. Termination of Access

Your access as an Agent may be terminated immediately, without notice, under the following circumstances:

Violation of any provision of these Agent Terms
Attempted or actual unauthorized access to CVs
Sharing of account credentials
Completion of the recruitment assignment you were hired for
Direction from Super Admin for any reason
Inactivity for 90 consecutive days

Upon termination, you must immediately cease all access to the Console and destroy any CV data in your possession.

7. Liability and Indemnification

You are personally liable for any damages resulting from your misuse of CV data. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CV World, its owners, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

Your violation of these Agent Terms
Your unauthorized use or disclosure of CV data
Your breach of applicable data protection laws

CV World reserves the right to pursue legal action against users who violate these Terms, including claims for damages and recovery of legal fees.

8. No Warranty

The Admin Console is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." While we strive for accurate logging and access control, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for unauthorized access if caused by user credential negligence.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CV World shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from CV misuse by an authorized user. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Agent Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Console or email. Your continued use after changes constitute acceptance. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Agent Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zambia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Lusaka, Zambia.

12. Entire Agreement

These Agent Terms, together with the Admin Console Terms and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CV World regarding your use of the Admin Console as an Agent.

Agent Acknowledgment

By logging into the CV World Admin Console as an Agent, I acknowledge that:

✓ I agree to be bound by these Agent Terms
✓ I understand that all my actions are logged and audited
✓ I accept that I am personally liable for any violation
✓ I understand that my actions may be disclosed to job seekers upon request
✓ I will not share, download, or distribute any CV outside the Console

Electronic acknowledgment constitutes legally binding signature
